My name is Joshua, I am a first-generation Nigerian American, an ISSA-certified Philadelphia Personal Trainer, the founder of Elite ID Fitness LLC and Elite ID Fitness Studio. My mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire others to prioritize their health, thrive in life, and embracing balance in the human experience.
My Journey to Fitness
Fitness has always been a fundamental part of who I am. Whether it’s weight training or riding my bike through the vibrant streets of Philly. Staying active is my way of connecting with myself and the world around me. With 16 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry I’ve learned that health isn’t something you can buy. Health is something you earn through dedication and intention. My passion for fitness has driven me to compete as a body building physique competitor with the National Physique Committee and the All-Natural OCB Men's Physique contest over the past years. These experiences have pushed me to explore my limits and embrace the mindset that consistency can unlock incredible potential.

As the owner of Elite ID Fitness Studio my goal is to create a space where individuals in the Philadelphia fitness community (#PhillyFit) can transform their health and lives. Our philosophy centers on helping clients build strength, improve movement, and gain confidence in a way that’s sustainable for the long term. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete we focus on guiding you toward a healthier stronger version of yourself.
My Philosophy: More Than Fitness
To me, fitness is about much more than building muscles or shedding pounds. It’s about taking responsibility for your health and creating a balanced fulfilling life. True wellness isn’t just physical. It’s also the harmony between your mind, body, and spirit that allows you to thrive in every aspect of your life.
I approach strength training with strategy and intention focusing on the fundamentals first. Building a strong foundation of mind-body awareness is essential for avoiding injury and supporting sustainable progress. It’s not just about lifting weights. It’s about understanding your body’s mechanics, listening to what it needs, and moving with purpose.
Fitness is most effective when paired with proper nutrition. I advocate for a whole-food natural diet that satisfies not just your hunger but also the optimal functioning of your body. Nourishing your body with the right foods isn’t just about performance. It’s about long-term health, energy, and vitality.
